Jimmy Wayne Streeter
August 9, 1962 ~ March 14, 2006
Friend

On March 14th, 2006 Jimmy Wayne Streeter was killed in an industrial accident. A 75 ft. exhaust stack was torn from it's base and fell on a company vehicle which he was in. Jimmy was killed instantly.

He is survived by his wife Debbie, son Morgan, mother Mary Frances Streeter and sister Linda Betts.

Jimmy had a way about him that was able to put any situation at ease. His infectious smile and humorous anecdotes would often distract you from the purpose you sought him for.
He was always available to help a fellow worker with a problem and often spent long hours researching past records for the answer. His dream was to create a safe work environment for all workers. These are only a few of Jimmys union accomplishments:

Vice President of UFCW local # 976C 1997~1998
Member of the E Board 1999~2002
Safety Officer 2001~2002
Secretary Treasurer 2005~3/2006

Jimmy will not be forgotten for a piece of him is in each of us whose life he touched!

Because He lives I can face tomorrow,
Because He lives all fear is gone,
Because I know He holds the future,
And life is worth the living,
Just because He lives.
